03How to measure
Three times across, three times up, keep the smallest.
- 01Measure the opening in the wall, brick to brick or tile to tile, not the old frame.
- 02Take the width at the top, the middle and the bottom. Walls are rarely square, so the three will differ.
- 03Take the height at the left, the centre and the right.
- 04Write down the smallest width and the smallest height. A frame made to the smallest fits; one made to the largest does not.
- 05Photograph each opening straight on, and send the photographs in the same chat.
Your sizes give a first price. The frames are only made after the openings are measured on site.
