02 / 15 Fixing and cladding
Cladding works.
Aluminium composite and aluminium sheet panels fixed to a subframe, for facades, shopfronts, fascias and signage bands.

01What it is
Cladding works, explained.
Cladding is a new skin fixed over the face of a building. An aluminium subframe is fixed to the wall, and the panels are cut, folded into trays and fixed to it, leaving a flat face with even joints.
Most cladding is aluminium composite panel (ACP): two thin skins of aluminium bonded to a core, usually 4 mm thick in all. Solid aluminium sheet is heavier and costs more, and it does not burn.
