Aluminium doors.

Sliding, hinged and folding glass doors in aluminium frames, for homes, balconies and shopfronts.

A row of dark-framed glass doors opening onto a balcony, with trees beyond.

01What it is

Aluminium doors, explained.

An aluminium door is a glazed frame built heavier than a window: deeper sections, stronger hinges or rollers, and a threshold that takes daily traffic.

Sliding doors suit balconies and garden openings where a swinging leaf would get in the way. Hinged doors suit entrances and shops. Folding doors stack to one side and open almost the whole width.

Where it suits

  • Balconies, verandahs and garden openings
  • Shop and office entrances
  • Kitchens opening onto a yard
